took the highway straight outta town now
heading for the sun
and as he's moving on - got this one place left to go
back where he was young

he'd been a drifter on the road of time to find a better man inside
but heard a whispering in his mind
saying "this path will guide you if you walk towards the light
... everything's all right....beyond Cerulean Skies....."

as long as the sky goes on he'll keep on going strong
no need to stop and rest )

a wiser man, after all these years
it's been a long, long time
